Image taken from elevation just North of town in the foothills. Tried to improve on a 2010 photo. Timing is everything.
Morning mist was a real factor; also couldn't locate the same standing spot. From the images I've taken of the "Sleeping Giant",
Man does NOT seem to have altered the original environments of this massive mound of a mountain. In a future trip to Steamboat,
I'm going to have to investigate.
