Dry Island Buffalo Jump

I met this man from Three Hills, and I am bad for names....I walked up to him and said wow, days like this don't come any better... He told me he had been coming there for 40 years and had walked all the trails and was a wealth of information.. He say in the past he had seen moose, deer, elk, cougars, antelope, bobcat. Had fished the river. There is no shortage of wildlife there... Got into the family thing and found that we were both linemen... had the same amount of children... Talked about the past and if there was anything he would have changed... just a couple of things. Still happy lied still married to a nurse...This was turning out to be a good day...He told me he was 62. Then he said something that caught me off guard... He said he had Lou Gehrig's disease and about three years to live. I thought what a nice guy for sharing this... made me fell just how lucky I was... I think he enjoyed the afternoon... wow
October 8th. today I got email from him.. that was pretty nice, His name is Gene...

When I read this a cried because my Dad also had Lou Gehrig's disease and fortunately for him, he went very quickly.
