I had a wonderful 10 days in Derbyshire visiting 7 National Trust Houses and Gardens and Chatsworth House, a privately owned house. The weather was good and there was only one day that was overcast and raining. I think this was one of best holidays I have ever had! I stayed in a 17th Century cottage in a sleepy village which was part of the Chatsworth Estate, the house being short drive away. The cottage had beamed ceilings and 3 feet thick stone walls, bags of character and an open fire... I took some nice autumnal shots while I was away so I have decided to start with this gallery and the rest will follow!
