The Harvest Moon

A shot of the full Harvest Moon over the Aberdeen shorefront. Myself and a colleague were out on the hunt for the moonrise photos but the cloud cover didn't look too promising so we tried instead for some sunset shots. It soon became clear that the sunset wasn't going to happen and just as we packed up to go home the full moon popped out above the clouds and this was the shot!! The orange glow on the moon was from the last dying rays of the sun setting behind us. An awesome sight!
