the Mangturm – the old lighthouse – built in the 13th century and used for many years as part of the medieval defenses.
Once the new lighthouse was built, this one ceased to be used.
The colorfully tiled roof is more recent – after the tower was struck by lightning in 1979, the roof was redone in its current style.
