Sawfly larva (Dimorphopteryx sp.)

Found curled on a birch leaf in the York Regional Forest in southern Ontario. This may be D. melanognathus, but not sure as so many of the species in this genus look alike.

Excellent macro; crisp, and the larva has curled nicely for a great composition.
