I like to cook from scratch.
20# of garden tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped.
Simmered for 3 hours with chopped homegrown onions and garlic sautéed in olive oil.
Thickened and reduced by one half.
Fresh chopped basil, parsley and oregano from the herb garden added at the end.
Five pints for the freezer.
