plover 'n' peeps - brenda

The plover has a ring around its neck. The peeps (aka sand peeps, semipalmated sandpipers) are light underneath, with no ring. Just a few of our thousands of migratory shorebirds.

I really like these little plovers and peeps (good thing I check my spelling, I put double o's instead of e's), you're so lucky to live in the path of all the birds.
