#14

A warm sunny day, perhaps the last of the year, so I took a magazine and a cup of tea out to the garden.
I used to buy quite a lot of home decorating and interior designs magazines, with the excuse that I was looking for 'inspiration' whenever there was a DIY project afoot.
Now, I get my fix though blogs and Pinterest, but this magazine was a pay day treat which I couldn't resist.
Country, along with vintage, sums up my decorating style.

Oh yeah... Country Living, Martha Stewart... so much inspiration. What are we going to do with it all? Really like your photo Mairead!

Been there, done that!! I finally threw out my home decorating, interior designs and gardening mags. And I have so many cookbooks - all old and dusty now. I MUST throw them out sooooon

For regular books I've swung almost completely into Kindle country (when you're reading Hemmingway, it doesn't matter what's displaying the words, only the words) but when images are involved magazines are hugely more convenient in many senses. Easier on the eyes (presence of glasses noted), take anywhere, and the resolution (and sometimes size, as with this one) of the images is vastly better than anything you could obtain from a tablet. Magazines live!
