This area of the sky covers the Southern Cross (Crux) to the famous Eta Carina Nebula.
These objects are well placed high in the autumn sky from southern Australia where this
image was taken. The Canon 60Da has worked well in bringing out the red colours of the Eta
Carina Nebula and other nebulae in the photo. Scan further around the image and you will
see a number of very nice open clusters as well.
