Inspired by Laine, I decided on a quick and easy dinner tonight. Cherry tomatoes, goats cheese, parma ham, and herbs on a defrosted puff pastry base. As I had a hungry son waiting to be fed, there was no time for fancy food styling!
This looks very delicious and easy to prepare.... hmmmm. My favorite puff pastry recipe involves a topping of leftover chicken cubes, gravy and cooked (frozen) peas and carrots. Makes a good "pot pie" in a pinch.
I think you actually meant "cherry" tomatoes rather than "cheery" tomatoes, though it could be argued that both hold true in this case. With the angle that you've shot at the toppings almost form a mosaic over the base.
