My New Tree

I bought a new tree today, an acer or Japanese Maple. It's only a small tree and I intend to plant it in a large pot to place in our recently reclaimed garden.

As long as Fudge doesn't mistake it for a chew toy before it's sturdy enough. I like the way you've shot this; it almost looks like the leaves are reaching out of the frame in a gesture of welcome. It'll be interesting to see how it grows over time in future shots.
