The Phantom's Masque Nebula Sh2-173

Sharpless2-173 is a very faint emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia, located near the star Caph. It is seldomly imaged, but has been referred to as the Phantom of the Opera Nebula. I think it conjures up images of Prospero's masquerade ball in Edgar Allen Poe's story, "The Masque of the Red Death."
