Up stream this "Creek" consists of miles of impassible white water. Fed by several glaciers and uncountable streams it plummets down out of the North Cascades through a fantastic old forest, where Douglas Fir and Cedars over two hundred feet tall are commonplace.
This photo was taken at a point where the creek has mostly begun to flatten out as it feeds Ross Lake.
