BTW, the tables and diners and candles are on the public sidewalk. I am not shooting inside the Restaurant. Best Wishes, Traveller

Oh, heavens no, this is a famous out doors French restaurant in a gentrified portion of Hollywood...I had left the theater, saw the diners and thought that maybe I could make something of this so I shot a few and walked past, turning left up the corner street and then looked at the images I had taken.

Yes, OOF, deeply dark, but with the candles proving some lite along with the light from the street and passing cars...there was something.

I went back, people seeing me come and going, wondering what I was doing...and so I shot this again but not wide angle, zoomed in and this made the image even worse technically....but not really, I had something really to work with now.

So this took a while to take, to recognize that there might be an image to be found here on a darkish Hollywood street....and so there was.

All of this was public area so fairly shot.

Best Wishes, Traveller

I'm just thinking aloud here Mr. T but if this is a picture of a scene from a movie that you took inside a movie theater and since you are posting it online couldn't that a be a copyright violation? Just wondering? Paul

I'm glad this is growing on you Jim, me too. But what is good about this is that this is a terrible cell phone image....but i could see that even OOF, high iso, shooting in the dark, that this had possibilities...

Up rez and up rez again to about 50,000 pixels per inch, work on it at this size and then cut the size to a posting size....actually, hummm, working on an image this size in PS caused a crash...I am coming to hate win7.....lol

Best Wishes, Traveller

I like the post processing you did here. This is quite clean and very "artsy".
It continues to grow on me the more I study it.

I went and saw the new Woody Allen movie tonight...Blue Jasmine...this scene from Hipster Hollywood seemed to work in an Impressionistic Style...which I think I did! Best Wishes, Traveller
