It was summer of 96 (I think). I was dropping my two boys off at the babysitter's house before I went to the airport to drop my grandmother off. I was traveling up Winston Rd. AKA Old 52. I passed a moped on my right as I was approaching Pit Stop (now Marathon). I put my turn signal on, slowed down and made a right hand turn onto Spring St. (I think). As I made the turn that moped plowed right into the side of my mini van. It was towards the rear of the van. I was at fault. The cop that responded to the accident, gave Mr. Klein a breathalyzer. I don't know if it was because of his past or if at that time they had reason to believe he was under the influence. He (the cop) told me that the reason I was at fault was because moped were treated under the law the same as a pedestrian.
