I spent an hour out in the garage this afternoon measuring up the VW for a a few jobs. It needs the usual checks and adjustments and a few tidying jobs in the engine bay. I need to re do all the fuel lines, plus re route the oil breather and distributer vacuum hose. All that and a good clean. The old engine isn't going back in just yet...
