I was feeling inspired with the weather forecast and decided to get up at 4.30am to try a sunrise at Dunnotar Castle. The cloud cover was more than I had anticipated from the but luckily a small break on the horizon allowed a brief moment of fiery red and orange to shine through onto the castle. It was one of those magical moments which photographers get out of bed for (literally). It lasted about 2 minutes and then it was gone.
