We had a peaceful night at Rifugio Puez and woke to clear, blue skies the next day (wasn't sure what we were in for based on the clouds the previous evening). We had a simple breakfast and were off to hike Sassongher. Not far from the hut is this flagpole and we stopped for a picture. Sas Ciampei, Sas Ciampac, and Gran Cier(Cir) can be seen in the foreground while the Sella group is in the back.
