the bicycle parking area (below)
is situated at the railway station in Oxford. Apparently there are around
one Billion bicycles on this planet and half of them are in China. I haven抰
been able to find out how many there are in Oxford, there would be quite
a few, but I found that Britons spend around bn annually on bicycles.
According to statistics 10% of UK adults cycle once per week and 3% use
a bicycle at least 5 times per week, whereas in Oxford 28% of adults use
their bikes once per week and 14% use a bike at least 5 times per week.
Another UK city has higher bicycle usage than Oxford. Guess which city.
