Jubilee bridge

Port Appin, Argyll and Bute

This wooden bridge links the villages of Port Appin and Portnacroish. It dates from the golden jubilee of Queen Victoria and is now showing its age. When we were there many of the wooden boards were loose or rotten or both! That didn't stop us walking across, though.

Not quite up to HGV traffic. Looks like it has stood the test of time well.
