Boss Hog Returns

West Virginia

Or I guess I should say I returned with some apples to feed him. I found him wandering down the road and gave him the apples which he made short work of and petted his bristly head. I found out he's been wandering the farms there for two years now. He is a pot bellied pig and must have been a pet someone dumped off. Now, he's a little leery of people but does like a head rub judging from the grunts.

I'm sure if someone wanted him he wouldn't be too hard to trap. He must have lots of friends to keep him going.
Great pic of the Boss.

He certainly has survived and doesn't look deprived at all...everyone must be feeding him and from your comment at some time must have been people friendly...good one...V

Definitely adds new meaning to the Friends image! Sad that someone abandoned him to a hard life of foraging for his food. He's a survivor!

So sad when people dump their animals. Good to see he is a survivor.

Nice catch and story. He looks well fed to me.
Of course I've never seen a pot bellied pig.

That is a sight. It is enormous. You weren't afraid he'd bite you. Being a city type, I'd be leery.
