Philippine Navy MBB Bo 105C RP-1639 is a combat helicopter developed by Bölkow of Stuttgart, Germany.
There was a manufacturing line for this helicopter in the Philippines.
The Phil. Navy had four of these helicopters as of July 2013.
I heard this chopper about to land near the Provincial Capitol & I ran about 350 meters from my home in Corrales Avenue
to take a few shots of it at McArthur Park (now Vicente deLara Park).
In the background is the PhilAm Life Insurance Bldg. along Don Apolinar Velez St. On the left is a forwarding agency's
Ford Fiera, a utility vehicle, for Philippine Air Lines (PAL). Bell bottom pants were in style back then.
This helicopter was formerly registered as D-HDFG. Later became RP-1639, RP-C1639 & PNH-402.
