Omege Centauri (NGC 5139) is one of the most spectacular telescope objects to view and has
captured the imagination of many amateur astronomers. It is comprised of approximately one
million stars all closely bound together by a mutual gravitational attraction. As an amateur
astronomer I never tire of looking at this object through my telescope.
