We headed out from Dallas this morning with the objective of staying in Wichita Kansas for the night. Our route took us through Oklahoma city, and we stopped to have a tour of the Oklahoma State Capitol. Our guide was very good and told us a lot about the art that is in the capitol and the history of the building itself. I hadn't realized it but Oklahoma was the 46th state, admitted in 1907. Arizona and New Mexico were added later. It was an easy drive. The fun is just beginning.
