During summer we get a lot of cruise ships sailing past to Edinburgh.
This morning the Queen Elizabeth sailed past around 6am when I was walking Katie, in glorious morning sunlight, but I didn't have a camera.
This evening she sailed back, but this time the haar (sea fog) had arrived so she was almost lost in the mist.
Here she is about 10 miles distant, with the tops of the hills in Fife showing, on the north side of the Firth of Forth (the estuary running up to Edinburgh).
