This small cirque at the foot of the Sierra de Particua was our goal for Day 6, our last of the hike. From our low point at the Village of Tramacastilla, the climb was about 1,600' though thick woods, then following the lovely outlet stream from this lake. It was a long haul, roughly seven miles on trails that are often quite steep. The cirque is at 5,200'.
