Late in showing up, this year's red raspberries look to be a bumper crop of wild fruit all over the place. The only bush of black raspberries, seems to be dead, or murdered by pesticides. Good thing we made a trip to a farm in western New Jersey last week to pick 400 black raspberries(which I ate, made into a clafouti and froze the remainder for apple and black raspberry crumbles and smoothies!)
