It's much more difficult than landscapes!

An amazing day out to the Isle of May off Anstruther in the King of Fife with the Deeside Camera Club and Tony McGarva. First time I have tried this bird business, and quite frankly I am not certain I am up to it. Especially with a 5D with its focusing speed! There are a lot of blue sky pic and even those aren't in focus. This is about the best of 100 attempts in flight and swapping to my old 450D which seemed to cope better.
Must try harder.

This is great - you've caught the puffin who caught dinner.

more difficult indeed...mountains and lakes don't move...looks like sharp shooting on this one though..

Looks pretty good to me!
Three puffins flew over me at North Queensferry yesterday (didn't expect that!) and all
I got was a chimney!
