There are three male Northern Cardinals in our yard: Lucky. (who is breeding this year), Buddy, who is the oldest and has visited us for years (Cardinals can live to 15 years), and this guy, Frowsy, who has what looks like a bad case of mites. Otherwise he is doing well and comes a couple times each day for sunflower seeds or peanuts. Over the next few days I will try to get shots of Lucky and Buddy.
