This is my patio. We have no garden, or yard as my American friends would say, but we do have this patio where Debbie and I grew plants in pots.
I guess I still do grow plants. I am still confused about in which tense I consider my life, at the moment.
We also have 20,000 acres of beach and coastline, just two minutes walk from our door, which is why not having a large garden is OK.
The Velux window in the decking looks down into my home office. Yes, down, my office is in the basement.
And the smaller picture is the view up from my desk, out of the Velux.
The house was originally a carpenter's workshop, and my office was where the heavy lathes etc. were located.
The tree fern in a pot is obviously not a Scottish native, but seems to thrive on a bit of rain.
