This is my 17-year old Max who crossed over to the other side on April 3, 2012. I believe Max to be the reincarnation of another cat that lived with me for 13 years. That means that this particular cat soul had lived with me for 30 years. It was quite a loss, but I knew that in time he would acquire a brand new body and come back to me. That happened on August 30, 2012 when Zuni, the beautiful Maine Coon cat in the previous photo came into my life. There are so many similarities between these unique cats that it's staggering. Zuni lets me know how much he loves me and gives me messages to make me feel absolutely certain that he's that same old cat soul who still wants to be by my side. Thus, it was no coincidence that when I was choosing photos to post, I came across these two with their heads in containers in exactly the same manner and sitting in the same exact spot on the dining room table.
