3rd - "Roue de Paris" by Traveller

The Roue de Paris is a 60-metre (200 ft) tall[1][2] transportable Ferris wheel, originally installed on the Place de la Concorde in Paris, France, for the 2000 millennium celebrations. It left Paris in 2002 and has since then seen service at numerous other locations around the world.

Traveller, last fall when I was in Paris a crew was setting up a ferris wheel near the Louvre ... wonder if it was the same one ..? Anyway ... I really like this. The symmetry really makes it special. - Ken

Yes, but it turns very, very slowly...and this was hand held, standing in the middle of the Champs-Élysées on a very small traffic island. My French friends were disgusted with my passionate desire to ride this in the dead of winter...so I snuck back and rode it anyway ($20). Traveller

I really enjoy this shot, did you shoot one where the wheel was turning? I love those kind of shots. Paul
