The mower is working at last... don't bother with cheap under spec drive belts when the grass is a foot tall. It lasted half an hour before smoking itself to death. Correct spec belt fitted, I've now spent four and a half hours destroying beautiful stuff like this. The weird thing is, you have to mow this stuff or it gets destroyed by bracken and brambles. Cut it down and it survives, leave it to its own devices and it dies...
