Twice I went there to work. First in Tunisia and then to Eritrea.
Tunisia on the Mediterranean, was like stepping back in time. It was my first trip across
the Atlantic and I was excited and a bit nervous not knowing what to expect.
Years later I went to Eritrea in the Red Sea. They were at war with Ethiopia at
the time I was there. A very poor country trying to develop while fighting
over territory. The area I was in was very pretty, but one the hottest
places on earth.
