Electric fan defished (corrected curveature)

A great way to keep cool is to sit close to an electric fan....

This image is the defished (de-fisheye) result of the next image taken
with an 8mm Samyang fisheye lens. Note the curved lines in the next image are
now straight or corrected (rectilinear). I used the defish image adjustment
feature in paint shop pro IX. With this software you can effectively get two
lenes for the price of one (with some loss of edge sharpness though).
The fan is 38cm on each of its SQUARE sides. The fans grill
is 32cm dia (CIRCULAR) and the fisheye lens was 15cm from the centre of
the fan. Uncorrected wide angles (aka Fisheyes)will keep circles,
circular when taken directly over their centre point, but straight
lines become curved to fit the perspective of the enormous wide-angle.
