The bird in the previous two photos and these 2 Semipalmated Sandpipers seemed to be traveling together in that they did things pretty much in unison. There was also some occasional squabbling that seemed to be give and take rather than one bird dominating the others. They were feeding among the rocks along with a Piping Plover on the receding tide in the Boathole area just west of the Gurnet. The growth on the third bird's head didn't seem to be impeding its activities as it was feeding just as well as these two and flew easily with them when they periodically flew about.
