One owlet carefully clutched a meal ( a crow that had gotten too close?)




The second owlet, which had been perched further out on the branch, decided it was a meal worth sharing so moved closer to try and steal a bite.





The owner of the meal was not into sharing, pecked its sibling on the head, and resumed its sole possession of the food. A while later the adult arrived and fed the shunned owlet the remains of the meal.
