Hot motorcycle TIP !

A crude diagram of Squirrel Spur Road but drawn for the purpose of understanding.....

I saw something on our Fathers Day Ride that caused me to take in a deep breath.
The guy in front of me going downhill was on the left area of his lane in a curve. He couldn't see past the curve in front of him ( or I will say at least I couldn't ), but I knew to keep in the center of my lane for safety. A crotch rocket was speeding uphill hugging the inside of his lane. The two met so close that there must have been a vacuum between them.

If you cant see the winding curves far enough ahead of you on a tight turning road, make sure you stay in ( at least ) the center of your lane. Just because your in your lane doesn't mean your safe. It will also help ensure your not in the path of someone that loses control and crosses the center line.
