It could have been worse. L&N 4106 had just clipped a car trying to beat the train at one of the crossing at Auburn, AL. The train is westbound, stopped just past the crossing on the east side of the old station. You can see the front pilot sheet has a small bend in the lower left. We saw the train as it was coming through town then go into emergency. Luckily no one was hurt.
