Many Murray River hunter-gatherers fell sick and are dying because of angry spirits
(a plague) unleashed by snakes and lizards in the area. It is a dark and scary time
for the indigenous mankind. Many think it punishment for all men encroaching on the
animal, bird, and fish domain..

How am I doing, Bob? These drawings are intriguing -- I do wonder what their significance might be -- if any. Fine presentation! V
