Carl was doing a little multitasking on our last owl shoot. In an attempt to fade into the background (try to be a brown stump?) and cover up from the mosquitoes that were trying to carry him away things got a little interesting. He was close enough to a road that drivers saw him sneaking around among the trees and called the RCMP (police), reporting him as a suspicious looking person lurking in the bushes. An officer drove out to check on things and after the initial shock we all got a good laugh out of the situation. The officer left knowing lots more about owls and mosquito protection than when she arrived. Just another Erland Adventure......
