Mississippi River still very high

Bonnet Carre' Spillway in Louisiana

All vehicle entrances into the Spillway are closed because of high water. The peak was May 22 according to the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers but I have not seen much of a drop yet.

Since there is flooding in St. Louis it may be a while before you see it drop.

We are about the highest we have been so far this year and it will stay this high for a few more days! Busy river down there, nicely shot!
