Shortly after a raging sunset, the stars came out. In an almost equilateral triangle, three planets converge: Venus is lowest, Jupiter is in the middle, and Mercury is highest. The lights of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel anchor the image. The clouds could have been more cooperative, but there were occasions to capture all three planets - I guess then, in a sense, I was lucky. Had not Venus been partially obscured by clouds, it would have been far brighter in the photo than the other two planets. A few minutes later, the sky darkened and the planets appeared more brilliant. But clouds got in my way - even if they are "illusions" - of seeing all three at once. Above the triangle is a star; I do not know which one. I guess I need the NiteSky app on my iPhone.
