Looking for the Florida Scrub-Jay, I went to Oscar Scherer Park today.
While looking for him, he found me! First time for this to happen to me
and was lucky enough to get a shot of it.

LOVE this shot!!! Glad I was able to get that for you SECOND time he landed on your hat! :-) The first time all I could do was stand there going OMG! he just landed on your hat before he flew away! LOL Great trip! Glad you could join us.

SUPER experience Dave. I've had Chickadees on my hat and a Gray Jay on my 500 mm lens; but, I've never seen a Jay on someone's hat.
