"Le Montreux" is a boat "Belle Epoque" of the General Navigation Company of Lake Léman (CGN)
It is a steamer and a water-wheeled boat.
It was built in 1905. The boat is decorated tastefully according the precepts of "Art Nouveau".
The flower chosen as emblem is the narcissus.
The woodwork is of mahogany and the floral panels are the work of Mr. Mithey, professor at the School of Industrial Arts in Geneva.
Other woodworks and stained glass windows were crafted in Lausanne.
