I’ve had a special treat since my studying ended – I’ve been able to re-start the great pleasure of exercising two of my favourite peeps, Lola and JD. I came in from playing tennis with them and Lola was so hot and exhausted she flumped on the kitchen floor with her tongue out panting like a good-un. Things to note:
1. The wet patch is dog slobber, nothing worse
2. The conditions meant the iso is high and the shot is wide open hence its overall low quality
3. The muddy paws are trashed mole hills
4. The subject of this photo is the apple of my eye.
I had a fabulous experience the day I went to get her collar tag done when she was first allowed to go out after her puppy jabs. I was in the engravers and the bloke behind the counter said “what do you want on her tag?” To which I replied “Lola” thinking that wouldn’t tax anyone’s ability to spell. He looked up and said “How do you spell that?”
This was obviously what the bloke in the queue behind me was waiting for – in his haste he almost pushed me to the ground as he shouted “L-O-L-A Lola!” I know, I know, it’s a bit cheesy but it made me grin for the rest of the day. So, here she is “Girls will be boys and boys will be girls
It's a mixed up muddled up shook up world except for Lola”. However, it should be noted that she really is a girl! Anyway, I always think of her as more of a showgirl.
