Squall Aftermath **

These big double wooden cabanas weigh @ 90 pounds. When the squall hits the beach in front of us, a micro-burst of rotating wind actually lifts two of these cabanas into the air and cartwheel flips them ( got that event on my video ). The idea to see here is that if you enlarge the image, you can see deep tread lines in the sand where the micro-burst of wind actually pushes several of these cabanas along the sand ( the winds come from right to left ). Two of the cabanas were lifted up and shoved back towards the ocean ( the 2 to the upper right of the image ) whilst the flipped cabana which was lifted and flipped is in the middle of the pile. Speaks to the cyclonic force of those winds which came in with the wall of water. The beach guys played 52-pickup with their mattresses and gear which is spread all over the place.
