100% detail within portrait taken with Minolta 70-210 ‘Beercan’ at f4.0 wide open.
The off center detail is quite good taking into account this is taken at ISO 500 on the a850...especially considering this lens was produced in the mid 1980's.
I suspect I was focusing on the leading eyebrow. Note that the other eye is out-of-focus due to depth of field issues...even at f4.0. Even the leading eye is soft.
