Charlock is actually a weed - and a serious one -. Mmay be known as Field mustard , shallock etc .. charlock seed may remaim dormant in the soil for sixty years !!
It is a member of cabbage family [ Cruciferae ] - and so is very difficutlt to control in Brassica crops .
